HSZG and BARMER sign a cooperation agreement on workplace health promotion.
Health always comes first - and especially this year! For this reason, we are delighted that the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is taking further steps together with BARMER as part of the university's health management program. The topics of employee health and student health management are given equal consideration here.
"Both employees and students face health challenges. This is the reason why it is important for us to address these challenges with both groups of people and develop health-promoting solutions. We support them with both face-to-face and digital offers," says Frank Kebbekus, Managing Director of BARMER in Dresden and Eastern Saxony.
The joint efforts have now been laid down for three years in a cooperation agreement. The first modules will be planned and implemented in the near future with the university's health working group. For example, there will be a new employee survey to identify resources and stresses in the workplace, the results of which will be used to develop tailor-made offers for HSZG employees. At the end of the contract period, the effectiveness of these offers will be reviewed.
The BARMER Campus Coach focuses on student health. He sensitizes students to the topic of health in a playful way. An anonymized online survey will be conducted to take stock of students' health status as well as their wishes and needs. The aim of the survey is to implement targeted measures, such as cardio scans, help with stress management during exams and exercise programs. The special feature: all offers are continuously evaluated and, if necessary, realigned.
The focus is therefore on the actual needs of our students.
"We want to support our students in completing their studies in the best possible way. For us, this includes strengthening them in particularly strenuous phases and providing them with constant incentives to promote their own health," summarizes Nicola Bell as a representative of the StuRa.
Chancellor Karin Hollstein is also optimistic about the future:
"We have already worked together successfully with BARMER time and again in the past. I am very pleased that we can now intensify this cooperation in a targeted manner for the benefit of our employees and students."
With this in mind, let's get moving together!
