Nora Terlunen was appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees. Her expertise promises to provide valuable impetus for the further development of higher education didactics in Saxony.
Professor Sophia Keil, Vice-Rector for Education and International Affairs and board member of Hochschuldidaktik Sachsen (HDS), is delighted to congratulate Nora Terlunen on her election as a new member of the HDS Board of Trustees. The appointment is not only a personal recognition for Ms. Terlunen, but also an important step for our university.
The HDS Board of Trustees plays a central role in connecting university didactics to the Saxon university public. It ensures that the university didactics courses always reflect the current state of academic discussions and the needs of teaching staff. The voting members of the Board of Trustees are made up of ten status group representatives from the partner universities, representing the diversity of the Saxon higher education landscape.
It has the important task of making recommendations to the Executive Board on the organizational, service and quality development of HDS. The Board of Trustees meets once a year for a plenary session and can form working groups for the work between the plenary sessions.
The addition of Nora Terlunen to this important committee is a great gain for the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and for the entire HDS community. She brings with her extensive experience and sound knowledge of university didactics, which she will bring to her new role. Her expertise and commitment will undoubtedly help to further increase the quality and relevance of the university didactics courses.

The basic course comprises 60 units (TU) and includes a mixture of face-to-face and online events, self-study phases and peer observation. The course is part of the HDS modular certificate programme, which is based on the quality standards of the German Association for University Didactics and is recognized nationwide.
