At the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz, Department of Human Resources and Law, two apprenticeship positions as office management assistant (m/f/d) are available as part of a commercial apprenticeship starting on 11.08.2025.

Apprenticeship as an office management assistant (m/f/d)

During your training, you will learn a variety of methods for the efficient handling of complex office and business processes. You will also deal with work organization as well as information, communication and cooperation within the company or institution.

This includes the following tasks:

  • Office organization (scheduling, document management, communication management),
  • Planning of events,
  • Carrying out commercial, administrative and organizational activities in various structural units of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and
  • Participation in the coordination of administrative processes

using various information and data processing tools/programs.

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • a good to very good secondary school leaving certificate,
  • quick comprehension,
  • good command of written and spoken English,
  • good oral and written communication skills.

The following are also desirable

  • IT skills and an interest in and willingness to use digital solutions,
  • Interest in the commercial profession and a good general education,
  • Interest in new trends and technologies in the field of work for application at the university.

You will also have

  • Ability to work in a team and a friendly and open-minded manner,
  • Willingness and interest in further professional and personal development,
  • commitment, reliability and a sense of responsibility.
