Normality. Simple, as usual, quite right and sometimes ordinary - all these connotations can resonate when a person wishes that "things could finally be more normal again." On this evening, we would like to talk to Prof. Raj Kollmorgen, Dr. Roland Löffler, Clemens Meyer and you.
What is the culture of normality, what is the discourse on it and where do people who see themselves as supporters of right-wing populist theories stand? Are the demands and desires for normality so different from those of 15 or 50 years ago? And how do we deal with this politically?
Aren't all these observations from a bird's eye view ultimately always about the individual's struggle to realize their dreams, hopes and life plans? So on this evening, we will talk about living together, our togetherness, our normality. And also about the rhetoric of fear, hatred, agitation and big promises - not despite, but precisely with and in recourse to the concept of normality.
And let us listen with equal curiosity to what the participants in the discussion from academia, literature and political education have to say about the prospects for the future of our political system.
