E-assessments are used to assess the level of knowledge of learners and enable teachers to select learning content accordingly, set priorities, plan learning opportunities, choose methods and form learning groups. With diagnostic assessments, for example in the form of placement tests for preliminary courses, self-tests for course selection or entrance examinations before internships, as well as formative assessments to determine the level of knowledge and learning progress within a course, such formats provide valuable information for the design of further teaching-learning processes. The integration of electronic exercises and tests into teaching enables lecturers to adapt their teaching to suit requirements.

What is a digital workspace?
In open workshop formats, all actors involved in the implementation of teaching at the partner universities (see below) can work on the conception and development of digital media-supported teaching-learning scenarios. Drawing on a wide range of expertise and exchanging ideas with peers, they not only expand their individual skills, but also directly implement a concretely planned project in the field of digital university teaching. This creates direct added value for the teachers themselves and the universities as a whole.
