On April 10, 2025, the focus will be on "Aids and assistance technologies for older people in rural areas". The focus will be on how modern technologies can make your everyday life easier and help you to live independently and safely in your home for as long as possible - even in areas where there are fewer services and support available. Such aids can not only offer you greater safety and mobility, but also make it easier to communicate with family and friends. At the same time, they relieve the burden on your relatives and care staff. Some technologies are simply practical, others are for entertainment or to promote your health.
Maria Fabisch will present her work as laboratory manager of the so-called Ambient Assisted Living Laboratory. The lab is a model apartment in which such technologies are tested and explained. Together with you, we would like to talk about the challenges you face in everyday life and the ways in which age-appropriate assistance technologies can help. You can look forward to an active exchange of knowledge, experiences and perspectives in order to create sustainable and innovative solutions for challenges in old age and care.
An event in cooperation with the Dreiländereck adult education center.
