Enrollment at the university takes place with the university entrance qualification from May each year via our application portal.
The course starts on September 1 with a four-week introductory block at the company, followed by alternating semesters of study at the university and practical periods at the company during the semester break.
In addition to the regular practical phases, students can work up to 20 hours a week in the company and take up to two semesters off.
The course is completed with a Bachelor's degree. During the practical training phases, students are entitled to collectively agreed leave and a monthly salary.

The Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science provides the theoretical foundation of your subject and continuously links this content with the practical applications of computer science that build on it. This includes in particular the two focus areas "Programming and Software Engineering" (Bachelor of Computer Science) and "Processes and Management" (Business and Computer Science). You will gradually acquire all the necessary knowledge as well as analytical and engineering skills in your subject. You will use a range of technical and organizational tools that will enable you to work in a creative, precise and team-oriented manner, as is common in the modern IT world and expected in everyday working life.
After successfully completing the Bachelor's degree, graduates can choose our 4-semester consecutive, i.e. coordinated, Master's degree program.
The Bachelor's degree in Computer Science comprises a total of 6 semesters (standard period of study). The final semester includes a practical project (approx. 3 months) and the Bachelor's thesis (approx. 2 months). There are also various specializations, which in turn include compulsory and optional compulsory study content. This gives you a choice of options that take your individual needs into account wherever possible.
The modern study structure (Bachelor's/Master's) encourages the desire to study selected study sections at another university, particularly abroad. The extremely positive effect of studying abroad on personal development is undisputed. The attendance of external study modules, which are credited to the study program wherever possible, is not limited to the institutions in the USA, Lithuania, Denmark and Austria, with which we have been cooperating for many years. The university has a long list of proven contacts abroad.
The course of study corresponds to the organizational framework of KIA. You complete the course with a Bachelor's degree and also have the opportunity to obtain certificates (e.g. ISTBQ software test) during the practical phases in the company. There is no skilled worker examination before the chamber.
