"Gosh Görlitz! How's it going with Corona?"
Students develop an exhibition on the living conditions of Görlitz residents during the pandemic.
“Hey, Görlitz! How’s everything going with COVID-19?” is a project idea that 12 female students in the Social Work degree programme at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences implemented in collaboration with the Lebensschule Görlitz. With support from their instructor, Monique Ritter, as well as other partners and sponsors, they developed a community exhibition exploring the life experiences of Görlitz residents during the past months of the pandemic.
The goal of the project is to give the diverse residents of Görlitz a voice and, in doing so, to learn how they have coped with the pandemic. These perspectives have now been incorporated into a public exhibition that visibly reflects people’s feelings, experiences, and opinions.
Identifying commonalities is a key focus of the project. The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to provide their own feedback. We warmly invite you to take advantage of this opportunity.
When and where can this exhibition be visited?
From 17.11.2021 to 15.12.2021 in the Peterskirche Görlitz and
from 10.01.2022 to 05.02.2022 in the NeißePark/entrance area Marktkauf in Görlitz, Nieskyer Straße 100.
You can find additional information in the information flyer.
