Students achieve excellent results in German-Russian double degrees!
ITMO University in St. Petersburg and Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences have been collaborating since 2015. As part of the joint degree programme, “integrated management systems – cleaner production,” students have been able to earn a Russian-German dual degree since 2018.
In 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the first students were able to begin their dual degree program. On June 17, 2021, the first German-Russian dual degree graduates successfully defended their Master's theses.
All three students completed their studies with good results. We are particularly pleased with the achievement of our student from Zittau, Sarah Barth. Her thesis was nominated at ITMO as one of the best theses of 2021. In recognition of this achievement, she will be given the opportunity to enroll in a PhD program at ITMO University in St. Petersburg without having to fulfill any prerequisites.
