As part of the Saxony5 project, the partners met for a kick-off meeting.
The kick-off has been made, the first tasks distributed to fill the next five years with life: As part of the Saxony5 project- intelligently networking knowledge flows - we were able to warmly welcome our network partners from Zwickau, Dresden, Leipzig and Mittweida to internal kick-offs on two consecutive days.
The Co-Creation Lab Supply Infrastructure kicked off on Thursday, April 12. The working title stands for the planning and construction of a place that will combine the expertise of all engineers, natural scientists and social scientists who deal with the topic of critical infrastructures. The advancing digitalization in the fields of electricity, heat, gas, water and wastewater makes it necessary to bring together stakeholders from science, business and society and work together intensively. At the heart of the Co-Creation Lab will be a large experimentation and training control station, where a wide variety of scenarios for future challenges can be simulated and practiced right away.
On Friday, April 13, representatives from all of Saxony's universities of applied sciences came together tolaunch another sub-project from the broad-based Saxony5 project. The Marketplace of Ideas is aimed particularly at the public and is an opportunity for increased dialog between universities, business and citizens. Existing, well-received event formats will be expanded, but there will also be room and space for innovative approaches, both on site and openly accessible digitally.
Thanks to the Innovative University funding initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the five partners are committed to transfer, transfer and more transfer.
