After closely observing the development of case numbers in the district, we decided on 26.10.2020 to cancel the face-to-face events from Tuesday to Thursday in their original form. We will look for ways to either reschedule the events at a more convenient time or convert them into appealing digital formats.
Nevertheless, we would like to give you the chance to get an idea of CELSIUZ and its possibilities. The premises can be visited in small groups of 5 people (the hygiene concept of the events still applies) for half an hour with the Saxony5 team. Please register in advance on the following list .
Some are bursting with curiosity, the Saxony5 team at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is almost bursting with excitement. CELSIUZ, the Co-Creation Lab for Supply Infrastructure at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, will be introducing itself next week.
What is it? What can it do? And where is it going? These are all questions for which we will find answers from 26 - 30 October.
The special focus on supply infrastructure can be summarized well under the following question: "How will we secure the supply of electricity, heat, water and internet to households, companies and municipalities in the future?"
CELSIUZ is a meeting point for ideas and an experimental laboratory for researchers, entrepreneurs and anyone looking for good solutions to complex challenges in a relaxed atmosphere. Here you will find state-of-the-art simulation technology, good coffee and everything else you need to tackle tomorrow's problems innovatively today.

In order to do justice to the important history of Plant I, now Mandau-Höfe, for the city and to take many citizens into the world of supply infrastructure, the Saxony5 project team is preparing a computer-animated light installation together with the internationally renowned "Stroy-Studio".
The animation will be on display from Monday, October 26 to Thursday, October 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the main entrance gate of the Mandau-Höfe, Äußere Oybiner Straße 16 in Zittau, during an evening walk.
