On the occasion of International Women's Day, Carsten Schneider, Minister of State to the Federal Chancellor and Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany, invites you to the Federal Chancellery in Berlin on March 6, 2023.
On this day, we will take a look at the contribution that women in their diversity
make socially, politically and economically in and for eastern Germany. The guiding questions are what challenges women face in East Germany, how female engagement can be strengthened and why the female perspective is so important.
The director of the TRAWOS Institute, Dr. Julia Gabler, has been invited to the podium together with the director Annika Pinske, the trade union secretary of ver.di Thüringen, Katja Barthold, and the former mayor of the Hanseatic city of Wismar, Rosemarie Wilcken, to contribute their expertise and experience.
We wish you exciting perspectives and a lively exchange!
