How can we master the digital transformation?

News from neuroscience, physics and information theory - a call for human empowerment.

We are all aware of the challenges facing the world. Nevertheless, the consensus at the conference was that everyone needs intrinsic empowerment that works from within and gives everyone the feeling that they can make a difference and achieve something new.

Design complex algorithmic machines in such a way that their application does not dominate you, but can touch you like a good work. In this way, you will set yourself in motion, see yourself as the creator of a new event and - supported by the anchoring of this value experience in the community as a whole - grow beyond yourself.

New insights into the unimagined plasticity of the brain shed light on the power with which something can move us that even neuroscience has not yet examined in detail: human values. This is underpinned by the results of physics and information theory in a way not previously considered. The long-standing collaboration with the neuroscientist Gerald Hüther and current research projects with the participation of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Sophia Keil) have led to this:

The aim of the lecture, which is open to the university public, is to develop the anchoring of these connections against the background of engineering practice and to illustrate this with examples. A further aim is to introduce this perspective into the social discourse.
