On the initiative of the Enterprise Europe Network office at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, digital cooperation between universities in Saxony and Lusatia is being further expanded.
The regional information day on current EU tenders for the ICT sector will be held jointly with the Riesa-Großenhain Innovation Center at HTW Dresden on 1 October 2019. The event will also be held at the HSZG, Chemnitz University of Technology and the Cottbus campus of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
EEN Saxony is breaking new ground with this event and is being actively supported by ZEUSS EU-Service Saxony, the SMWK research consultancy and the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
A similar transnational event organized by EEN Saxony and EEN Berlin-Brandenburg was already held in Senftenberg in October 2018. At that time, more than 25 companies took part to find out about current EU programs - at that time without a live broadcast.
SMEs who would like to hear the presentations by Dr. Späth, employee of the National Contact Point ICT and expert rapporteur on current ICT tenders in the "EU Horizon 2020 Program" as well as field reports from an applicant and an EU expert, can still register until 27.09.2019. In Görlitz, the project has found another supporter for such approaches in Digitale Oberlausitz e.V.
