Mental hygiene in helping, counseling and support professions (online)

How can we deal with cross-border expectations and actions and focus on our own?

Begin 22. April 2020 - 13:00 Uhr
End 13. May 2020 - 16:30 Uhr

In these professional fields, you are confronted with different stories, situations and fates. Your counterpart often expects empathetic and sensitive support.

Accordingly, you may have already been taught techniques of empathy and sensitivity during your studies or in practice. But how do you, who provide support, deal with the stories that come with your day-to-day work?

How can you deal with clients' expectations and actions that sometimes cross boundaries, reflect on your own and shape support processes with empathy and boundaries?

In this seminar, you will learn to recognize and develop your own self-protection skills. You will be encouraged to continuously cultivate and develop these skills in your day-to-day work and to practically position yourself in the field of tension between empathy and demarcation.
