In the first part of the short face-to-face workshop, you will be introduced to good practices in which augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) have been designed and used in university teaching. The second part offers you the opportunity to try out these technologies and explore how you can integrate them into your own teaching in a didactically meaningful way.

The didactic opportunities and possibilities of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) lie primarily in visualization (interactive 3D representation), instruction (interactive and location-independent) and interaction (virtual control panels, hand and finger gestures, voice commands). In this short workshop, we would like to show you the possibilities and opportunities they offer and give you time to gain practical experience with them.
Learning objectives
After completing the short online workshop, participants will be able to
name good practice augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) for teaching and
outline the opportunities and challenges of using these educational technologies.
