Indian farmers face ruin, sell a kidney or commit suicide. In Canada, genetically modified rapeseed makes organic farming impossible. The Icelandic parliament sells the entire genetic potential of its population to the pharmaceutical industry. And only a handful of idealistic scientists around the world are standing up to the industry and investigating the effects of transgenic animals and plants on the environment and on our health when we eat these genetically modified foods. After this cinematic journey around the world, we would like to discuss the content shown with you.
