Social sciences students call for the first debating club.

When discussing current or generally relevant topics, rhetorical, argumentative and analytical skills are trained and new knowledge or insights are created at the same time.
Procedure:
The first event will provide an insight into the subject matter of debating. In addition, the structure of debates will be discussed and the debating club and its structure and goals will be introduced. The theory will be followed by a round of "free debating". The topic here is not yet fixed, but will be selected by the participants from a list of possible topics. Finally, important decisions on the continuation of the debating club will be clarified. This step will focus in particular on finding a specific date and schedule for the upcoming meetings.
Where & How:
The meeting will take place via "Zoom", registered participants will receive an access link by e-mail at least one hour before the meeting.

Interested parties from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the HSZG who would like to try out and exchange ideas.

The duration of the event depends on the number of participants and their commitment. However, breaks can be taken to maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
