Ceremonial presentation of certificates by the Federal Minister of Education in Berlin
A year ago, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG), under the leadership of the Vice-Rector for Education and International Affairs, Professor Keil, was one of five other universities to qualify for peer-to-peer strategy consulting on digitalization in teaching and learning. During this time, experts from the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung supported the HSZG in its strategic examination of digital teaching and learning.
The focus of this peer-to-peer format was on the digital world of work as well as educational equity, access and openness. Together with the HSZG, the experts developed recommendations for the further development of digitalization with a special focus on studying and teaching, thus making an important contribution to the future development of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. The peer-to-peer consultation thus represents a further step in the University-for-Future process and the results will be used for strategic processes at the HSZG.
In recognition of the HSZG's commitment, Federal Education Minister Anja Karliczek presented the certificate at a ceremony on November 3, 2021 at the University:Future Festival on the EUREF campus in Berlin-Schöneberg. The HSZG was represented by the Rector, who emphasized the special role of our students in the ongoing strategy process and praised the cooperation with the peers.
The university management would like to take this opportunity to thank all those at the HSZG who have accompanied and supported the process.
