The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is seeking to fill a W2 professorship at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the field of
Human-Computer Interaction

to be filled full-time.
The position includes the representation of the above-mentioned professorship in teaching and research, in particular with the following focal points:
The professorship is intended to meet future requirements in the field of computer science, in particular human-computer interaction with reference to software systems and application orientation.
Teaching duties are to be carried out in lectures, seminars, exercises, practicals and projects as well as in continuing education in German and English. If necessary, courses related to the field of appointment must also be taken on, in particular in applications of computer science, e.g. in health management, social services or engineering.
In addition to teaching duties, a continuous commitment is required to carry out independent research and development tasks in the area of appointment or the above-mentioned key topics. Active participation in the internationalization of the university and the further development of the subject area is required. Tasks in the academic
self-administration are to be assumed. In addition, active participation in projects in the field of knowledge and technology transfer is expected.
Appointment requirements
The prerequisites for appointment are a completed academic university degree, a proven pedagogical aptitude in teaching or training, a special aptitude for academic work, which is usually demonstrated by a doctorate or adequate academic achievements, as well as special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in a professional practice of usually five years, of which at least three years must have been spent outside the university sector.
