At the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz (HSZG), Center for Knowledge Transfer and Education, which is affiliated to the Vice-Rectorate for Education and International Affairs, a part-time position (20 hours/week) is available as part of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research "MINOS-Verstetigung der MintMachRegion Ostsachsen" (in the MINT-Cluster for Young People, 2nd funding phase) at the earliest possible date as a

Project employee "MINOS - Continuation" - (m/f/d) - Keyword: - MINOS -

to be filled for a limited period until 31.12.2025.

The MINOS STEM cluster aims to awaken children's interest, enthusiasm and talent for scientific and technical topics and research. In order to secure this project in the long term, an umbrella brand for STEM education in East Saxony will be developed in the 2024-2025 funding phase. The job holder (m/f/d) will work on the following tasks in particular

  • Development of an umbrella brand for extracurricular STEM education in Eastern Saxony in close connection with the existing strategic initiatives, such as ZUKLOS
    • Development of strategic continuation scenarios with corresponding organizational and financing structures in close cooperation with the cluster management and the network partners,
    • Brand development with the associated process steps: brand naming to differentiate from competitors and joint positioning, brand positioning to differentiate the services, description of the target group and its needs, marketing strategy to establish the brand, visual appearance,
       
  • Visualization of extracurricular educational offers in East Saxony
    • Development of an online booking function for extracurricular educational offers in East Saxony,
    • Concept for the medium and long-term establishment of the above-mentioned umbrella brand,
       
  • Organization of three extracurricular camps for 12- to 18-year-old children and young people:
    • in cooperation with members of the HSZG and extracurricular partners, thematic camps (e.g. energy camp) for young researchers are prepared and carried out in East Saxony,
    • Documentation and public relations work,
  • Networking with partners from business, schools, associations, science and public institutions in the regional mint cluster,
  • Preparation of project reports.

 

The following knowledge and skills are required

  • Completed, preferably scientific university degree related to the above-mentioned tasks (univ. Master's degree/univ. diploma, accredited Master's degree from a university of applied sciences),
  • Professional experience or extensive experience in the use of digital media and content development,
  • Ability to think strategically, confident demeanor and assertiveness,
  • Experience in working with interdisciplinary stakeholders at the interface between education and business,
  • Pedagogical and didactic skills when working with students,
  • you are comfortable writing science-based texts,
  • Experience in event management and running your own workshops,
  • communication skills and an independent, team-oriented way of working,
  • Car driving license.

The following are also desirable

  • Knowledge of school programs, educational projects and cooperation in the field of education,
  • practical professional experience in a school or educational environment,
  • Familiarity with regional stakeholders, networks and potential cooperation partners in the education sector,
  • Knowledge of project management,
  • Knowledge of the research region of Eastern Saxony and of regional structural change,
  • Experience in the use and design of effective public media.

  • an independent, solution-oriented and proactive way of working,
  • Willingness to undertake business trips.

If the personal requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 13 TV-L. The first place of work is Zittau.
