Project employee marketing engineering education (m/f/d) - Keyword: OptLA-Marketing

At the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, within the framework of the funded project "Option Studium des technischen Lehramtes (OptLA)" , a position (40 hrs/week) is available at the earliest possible date as a

 

 Project assistant marketing engineering education (m/f/d)

- Keyword: OptLA-Marketing -

 

to be filled for a limited period until 31.12.2025.

The Mechanical Engineering Pedagogy degree course was established as part of the "Option Studium des technischen Lehramtes (OptLA)" cooperation project together with Dresden University of Technology, Mittweida University of Applied Sciences and Zwickau University of Applied Sciences in order to attract young people in rural regions to study to become technical teachers at vocational schools.

 

We are looking for a committed person to support our team in successfully establishing this new course of study.

 

The following tasks in particular are associated with this:

 

  • Developing and implementing a marketing strategy to raise awareness of the Mechanical Engineering Education degree program,
  • Planning and implementation of cross-media marketing campaigns with a particular focus on online media,
  • Creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations and online content,
  • Presentation of the degree program at trade fairs, in schools and at events,
  • Support with the design of the course website and updating content,
  • Cooperation with the University Communications Office,
  • Cooperation with the cooperating universities.

 

 

The following knowledge and skills are required

 

  • Completed university degree in marketing, communication or a similar field,
  • demonstrable experience in marketing, ideally in the education sector or at a university,
  • in-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media and content creation,
  • excellent communication and presentation skills and
  • fluency in German and a good command of English.

 

In addition, the following are desirable

 

  • Knowledge of the university's study operations and relevant business processes of the university administration.

  • Creativity, independence and a team-oriented way of working,
  • a high degree of reliability.

If the personal requirements are met, remuneration will be paid up to pay group 11 TV-L.  The 1st place of work is Zittau.  The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences strives for a balanced personnel structure and therefore welcomes applications from persons of all genders.
