At the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG), Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer (ZIT), a position (0.5 FTE) is available from 22.04.2023 as part of a substitution arrangement in the joint project "Lausitz - Life and Technology" funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as a

 

Project assistant (m/f/d)

- Keyword: L&T Alliance -

to be filled initially for a limited period until 29.07.2023 . The job holder intends to take parental leave after the employment ban, for which an extension of the employment until 31.07.2024 is planned.

The HSZG is stepping up its activities to intensify the transfer to the economy and regional society. For this purpose, an alliance was founded in the joint project "Lusatia - Life and Technology", in which technological and social innovations in the research fields of additive manufacturing, networked storage technologies and attractive educational, working and living environments are promoted and realized in cooperation with over 75 regional players.

The tasks of the job holder (m/f/d) are the establishment of the innovation management of the alliance and the further development of the alliance management, in particular

 

  • Further development of viable network structures in the alliance (such as recruiting new alliance partners / needs assessments / organization and implementation of joint topic-specific event formats),
  • Communication with alliance partners, in particular on the content of innovation management, strengthening the exchange within the network and externally (e.g. newsletter, trade fair appearances, digital tools),
  • Supporting project work, interlinking and cluster formation, including making project results visible and developing new project approaches, and
  • Evaluation of the organizational structure and coordination with the strategy development team for the continuation of the alliance.

 

The following knowledge and skills are required

 

  • Completed university degree (Bachelor, FH diploma) in economics or humanities,
  • relevant professional experience in networking, project management and public relations in the field of research and development
  • Experience with conceptual and organizational development in the field of research and development
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills as well as organizational talent,
  • creativity and interdisciplinary understanding.

 

The following are also desirable

 

  • Experience with research and development projects in the university sector,
  • broad knowledge of the (Upper) Lusatia region, its economic and social geography and the landscape of its stakeholders,
  • knowledge and experience in the creation of editorial contributions, in the use of common social media tools and Wordpress as well as
  • a working knowledge of English.
