New member of the University Council receives certificate

Katrin Bartsch will take over the seat on the university committee from October.

The University Council of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences welcomes Katrin Bartsch, Chairwoman of the Management Board of Stadtwerke Weißwasser GmbH, as a new member. She replaces Hagen Semmer, who has taken on a new role within the Siemens Energy Group since October 1, 2021 and will therefore no longer be available for the Görlitz site and the University Council of the HSZG from this date.

At the meeting of the University Council on 29.10.2021, Dr. Bartscher from the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism (SMWK) presented Ms Bartsch with the certificate of appointment signed by the head of office.

 "We are very pleased to have found a committed member in Katrin Bartsch, who will support the university's strategy development process with her expertise. The Rectorate is looking forward to a good working relationship", says Rector Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Kratzsch.

Katrin Bartsch is appointed for the period from 01.10.2021 to 30.09.2026.
