Employee in the Nursing degree program (m/f/d) - Nursing practice with a focus on geriatric care -

The position includes the following tasks in particular:

• Collaboration in the (further) development of the practical study components in the future-oriented nursing degree programs including the implementation of skills and SimLab units,
• Coordination and cooperation between learning locations (university, nursing practice and practical instructors), organization of practical instructor meetings, etc,
• Information and advice for those interested in the degree program, the practice facilities and
• Participation in public relations work, e.g.  Participation in trade fairs and university information days, student events, creation of information material

With the start of the course:

• Courses in the modules of the nursing degree programs (§ 78 SächsHSG),
• Practical supervision (§ 38 Para. 3 PflBG), focusing on the specialist area of care and nursing of elderly and old people.
• Coordination and supervision of students in practical assignments.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Completed university degree related to the above-mentioned area of responsibility, preferably in nursing and nursing sciences, nursing education, medical education or comparable,
• completed vocational training in a nursing profession according to § 1 PflBG as well as practical experience in nursing care,
• Proof of expertise in the field of geriatric care,
• pedagogical and didactic skills in teaching,
• Experience and professional expertise in/on current legal requirements for academic nursing training (generalist training),
• very good written expression and analytical thinking and
• car driver's license.

In addition, the following are desirable

• University didactic knowledge and experience,
• Knowledge of simulated teaching (Skills-/SimLab),
• Knowledge of university-related structures and processes,
• experience in research and
• further language skills.
