Teacher for special tasks (m/f/d) - Reference: 51-2024 LfbA Heilkunde -

In accordance with Section 78 of the Act on the Freedom of Universities in the Free State of Saxony (SächsHSG), you will be responsible in particular for teaching courses in the medical modules or modules with a medical component of the nursing degree programs, including practical supervision in accordance with Section 38 (3) PflBG and state examination in accordance with Section 39 PflBG, with a focus on the field of medicine.

In addition, you will be active in the following areas of responsibility:

• Collaboration in the further development of the practical study components in the nursing degree programs including the implementation of skills and SimLab units for the curative fields,
• Coordinating and supporting students in practical assignments with a focus on curative activities,
• Informing and advising those interested in the degree program and the practical facilities on the design of the curative modules,
• Participation in public relations work, e.g.  participation in trade fairs and university information days, school events, preparation of information material, etc. and
• Supporting the faculty's research projects.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Completed university degree in medicine,
• medical license to practice medicine,
• Ideally, experience and technical expertise in/regarding current legal requirements for academic nursing training and studies (general studies),
• very good written expression and analytical thinking as well as
• car driver's license.

In addition, the following are desirable

• Pedagogical and didactic skills in teaching,
• Knowledge of simulated teaching (Skills-/SimLab),
• Knowledge of university-related structures and processes,
• experience in research and
• further language skills.
