Students are currently preparing the Come in weeks for our first-year students.
You will soon be starting your studies at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences - how cool!
We're really looking forward to getting to know you soon and maybe you're already curious about your (new) adopted home.
That's perfect: we've prepared something for you and your fellow students.
Our so-called Come in weeks take place from September 11-22. This is a centrally organized programme for all first-year students consisting of preliminary courses for some subjects and various leisure activities. In addition to our premises, you will also get to know your fellow students and some of our teaching staff. There's sure to be something for everyone!
These weeks are organized "by students for students". Anna, Nathalie, Ria, Johann and Miriam have spent the last few weeks and months working intensively on how you can best settle in during your first two weeks at the HSZG. They will show you Zittau, Görlitz and other beautiful corners of Upper Lusatia. As committed members of various university committees, they will be happy to help and advise you with any questions and problems you may have during your studies, even after the Come in weeks.
Don't miss out on the joint start to your studies and register here for the preliminary courses and leisure activities!
Our faculties also have a lot to offer especially for first-year students on their degree programs! The introductory events will take place from September 25 to October 4. In addition to lab tours, information and introductory events, you can expect games evenings, hikes and a relaxed get-together over a barbecue.
You do not need to register in advance to take part in the introductory days at the faculties. The courses start from 04.10.2023 according to the regular timetable.
Your matriculation ceremony will take place on September 29, 2023. We look forward to celebrating the start of your studies with you and welcoming you to Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences!
Further information will follow soon.
