COME TO THE ZITTAU/GÖRLITZ UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES

At the nationwide Girls' Day and Boys' Day on Thursday, April 25, 2024, students in grades 5 to 9 can get a taste of professions that are not typical for girls and boys in the morning. Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is once again taking part and has put together a program for this future day that will inspire the students:

True to the motto: Come along and experience how you can shape the future with robots, build your own dream house in 3D or experience chemistry with all your senses. Pupils gain interesting insights into the university, can try things out for themselves and take a look behind the scenes of the research laboratories.

Here is a review from last year!

The offers take place from 9:00 or 9:30 am and end at 12:00 or 12:30 pm in Zittau. Afterwards, the HSZG is happy to invite the students to lunch together in the Zittau canteen on Hochwaldstraße. A member of the university management and a student advisor will be happy to answer any questions. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the day.

To register, students can simply enter "Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz" in the search mask in the Girls' Day radar and students in the Boys' Day radar and they can start registering. Participation is free of charge and the ZVON student ticket can be used to travel to Zittau. An application for exemption from school for this day is accepted by the respective school.

The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences is looking forward to welcoming many interested pupils!

Have you ever noticed how similar a diver's flippers can be to a duck's feet or an airplane in the sky to a bird? Many technical inventions are based on natural mechanisms that shape our environment. Humans have been inspired by animals and plants in many ways. The connection between biology and technology is behind the fascinating field of bionics. Let's discover together what we have already learned from nature.
