On June 22, the long-awaited third Flight Day of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Industrial Engineering took place at the Görlitz airfield.
This year, a total of 15 students and four professors - Prof. Kroschel, Prof. Fichna, Prof. Zips and Prof. Wendt - took part in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Industrial Engineering flight day.
The day began with cloudy skies, which initially caused some concern among the participants. However, the clouds quickly cleared and the sun came out, making the day perfect.
The students had the unique opportunity to fly in various aircraft. A microlight, a glider and a motor glider were available. This variety allowed each participant to choose their preferred aircraft and thus enjoy an individual flying experience.
During the flights, there were breathtaking views of the region, stretching from Lake Berzdorf to the Zittau Mountains. Participants were able to admire the beauty of the landscape from a bird's eye view and gather unforgettable impressions.
After an eventful day in the air, there was a cozy barbecue evening to round off the day together in a relaxed and enjoyable way. Over delicious food and good conversation, everyone looked back on their experiences in the clouds and shared unforgettable, freshly made memories.
The third Flight Day of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Industrial Engineering was a great success and will be remembered by all participants for a long time to come.
