In the packed Lecture Hall 0.02 of the Peter-Dierich Building at the HSZG in Zittau, Member of the Bundestag Thomas Jurk and HSZG professors Johannes Laser and Mario Straßberger discussed the Transatlantic Tradeand Investment Partnership (TTIP), currently being negotiated between the EU and the U.S., with university faculty and other citizens. Under the confident moderation of master’s student Florian Rahtz, the discussion focused on the potential implications of this agreement. The conversation touched on both global power dynamics and regulations regarding cucumber sizes.
