The competition is aimed at students of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, as well as anyone else interested in expressing themselves artistically in the context of "The Open Society". The closing date for entries is 30.05.2021.
The term "open society" was coined by the philosopher Sir Karl Raimund Popper (1902-1994) and is often associated with the critical examination of new social issues such as digitalization, globalization or climate change, as these seem particularly important in today's age. Stefan Brunnhuber took up this topic from Karl Popper and dealt with it from the perspective of the 21st century.
In order to deal with the topic of the "open society" on a creative level, a competition was launched that enables students at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and all other interested parties to express themselves artistically in this context.
