On November 1 and 2, 2016, everything at IPM will revolve around the topic of "Transformers - Operation and Diagnosis".
The company Lausitz Energie Kraftwerke AG (LEAG, formerly Vattenfall Europe Generation AG) and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG) are working closely together as part of a project on the diagnosis of generator transformers. The focus of the project is the development of a diagnostic tool for determining the condition of transformers.
In order to delve deeper into the topic of safe operation and monitoring of transformers and to exchange experiences in this field, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, organized by the Institute for Process Engineering, Process Automation and Measurement Technology (IPM), is holding a workshop entitled "Transformers - Operation and Diagnosis" on 1 and 2 November 2016.
The agenda for both days of the event can be found here.
The event is primarily aimed at employees of energy companies and universities.
On November 1, there will be an opportunity to visit the presentations and exhibits from General Electric, Starke & Sohn, ABB and Gatron/EMB.
On November 2, special topics in the field of transformer technology will be discussed.
