Next weekend Zittau celebrates the 23rd Saxon State Harvest Festival - we'll be there!
Visitors from all over Saxony and from our neighboring countries Poland and the Czech Republic will come to Zittau for the 23rd Saxon State Harvest Festival from 30.09. to 2.10.2022. A large festival program will fill the city center with several stages, stalls and a colorful mix of culinary delights, art, culture and exhibitions. We at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences will be there and invite you to join us in celebrating rural areas. A warm welcome!
We are opening our Zittau campus to the public on the festival weekend with a wide range of activities for guests of all ages. Hands-on stations, information stands and illustrative material from all faculties and from research will show in an entertaining way what is taught and researched at the HSZG.

Marvel with almost all your senses at the impressive experiments in the high-voltage hall!
We associate high-voltage technology with large installations, overhead lines and power plants - however, the research work and knowledge of behavior are necessary to obtain functioning devices in households and industry far away from large overhead lines and high voltages. We would like to give you an insight into this.

On Sunday (2.10.) there will be a large parade along the Green Ring from 13:00. The HSZG will be taking part in this and will represent King Ottokar's retinue in historical costumes.
