Mountain festival in the ATRAKTIV project!

TRAWOS in Berlin: Meeting of the project consortium

In this project, we are using four rural regions to investigate the potential of rural regions in transition, the role of innovation in a regional transformation towards greater sustainability and how these regions can make even better use of this potential in the future. Strategy documents were analyzed, interviews were conducted and we are now starting the evaluation with a comparative look at the four regions.

On May 30-31, we met with all project partners in Berlin and not only presented the current status of the project, but also looked at the upcoming work packages. Agreements were reached on the current methodological approach. Of course, we at the TRAWOS Institute at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences are not doing all this work alone, but are working in a strong team with our four project partners from ISInova Institut für Sozialinnovation e. V. | Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IfL) | Institut für Genossenschaftswesen e. V. and the Seminar for Rural Studies.V. and the Seminar for Rural Development (SLE) of the Albrecht Daniel Thaer Institute of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin as well as the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER).

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
