The HSZG carries out video surveillance in the university's outdoor areas and buildings in the exercise of its domiciliary rights for the investigation and prevention of criminal offenses, for the preservation of evidence and for the assertion of legal claims.
The HSZG has a legitimate interest in maintaining order and security in and on its properties within the scope of its domiciliary rights and in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR and § 13 (1) and (2) SächsDSDG.
In individual cases, the HSCG discloses the data processed during video surveillance to the following recipients exclusively for the purposes of this processing activity and after prior approval by the controller:
Personal data will not be transferred to a third country or an international organization.
The regular storage period of the recorded video material is 15 days before deletion takes place by overwriting with new video material. If individual video material is required for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims, the deletion is suspended for this period in accordance with Art. 17 (3) lit. e GDPR.
As a person affected by the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights if the legal requirements are met.
According to Art. 13 (2) lit. e GDPR, the provision of personal data is not required by law.
In the "video surveillance" processing activity, no automated decision-making or profiling is carried out in accordance with Art. 22 (1) and 22 (4) GDPR.
