Online conferences as an alternative to face-to-face events - Take the opportunity to attend the ZWB/Zfe organized live introduction and exchange of experiences on 01 April 2020.
Are you faced with the task of having to reproduce a lecture completely virtually? Preferably uncomplicated in the browser? At the suggestion of the Education Unit and the Center for eLearning, we looked for simple and secure alternatives to face-to-face teaching. Modern conference software not only offers an integrated working environment with a whiteboard, chat and telephony function, but also regulates the interaction options for participants. It allows lecturers and students to work together in meetings, with everyone participating via webcam and microphone.
The system has been tried and tested for several years and web conferences with up to 50 participants have been held simultaneously without disruption.
You can get an insight into BigBlueButton on Wednesday 01.04. from 3 pm in the moderated online conference "... and suddenly my teaching has to be digital?". Teachers can share their experiences with the university's didactics team and the Center for e-Learning.
Please follow the instructions of the Center for eLearning (Zfe) to ensure that the courses run smoothly.
