Before his first appointment as a professor in 2015, he had already worked as a judge at the Dresden Social Court. Prof. Erik Hahn is a permanent contributor to the BeckRS reference project on social law. His commentary on the appeal provisions (Sections 172 et seq. SGG) is currently published in beck-online.GROSSKOMMENTAR zum Sozialgerichtsgesetz. In addition to his work at the HSZG, he currently also holds an EU-funded Visiting Professorship for European Health and Social Law at Riga Stradins University (Latvia).
