The Department of High-Voltage Technology / Material Science / Theoretical Electrical Engineering at HSZG offers to host a postdoc with a Horizon2020 MSCA Individual Fellowship to join in the group's research projects.
Rough outline of idea/position
- Material Science: Electric and dielectric properties at DC and AC field stress
- Optimization of polymeric materials for DC and AC stress
- Development of test methods
- Interfaces in insulations systems: Behavior and interactions of solid - gas (insulators, pollution layer flashover, ...) and solid - solid (cable and cable accessories) interfaces
- Technical Diagnostic: Development of unconventional and new approaches of measuring and evaluation instruments for supporting the research topic
