The application and admissions process is in full swing at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
"The incoming applications are registered in the Admissions Office and prepared for the admission procedure. A total of more than 1100 admissions have been sent out so far for the open and some NC degree courses," says Dr. Stefan Kühne, Head of Studies and International Affairs.
The 15 July application deadline for the restricted admission courses in the Faculties of Social Sciences and Management and Cultural Studies has passed. The admission procedures for the so-called NC degree programs have been initiated and by the second week of August at the latest, all applicants for these degree programs should have received notification.
For degree programs with restricted admission (NC), applicants must declare their acceptance of the study place by Monday, 20 August 2018 at the latest. Anyone who has not done so will have their study place reallocated. For all those who have received a rejection, this means that there may still be a chance of being considered in the succession procedure.
The still very young degree courses are particularly attractive for prospective students Business and Computer Science, Business and Languages as well as the newly designed courses in Automation and Mechatronics, Electrical Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, power engineering, Applied Natural Sciences as well as industrial engineering can be.
However, reference should also be made to the other engineering, natural sciences and economics courses such as Molecular Biotechnology, Ecology and Environmental Protection computer science, business administration and Housing and Real Estate Management. The demand for qualified graduates from Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in these areas in particular is unbroken.
