At the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, the group representatives on the faculty councils, the equal opportunities officers of the faculties and their deputies, the student representatives on the Senate and the Extended Senate as well as the student student councils were newly elected in June of this year.
The election of the new faculty heads - the deans, vice deans and deans of studies - concluded at the beginning of July.
The following were elected
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Worlitz as Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science,
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bernd Bellair as Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,
- Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jens Weber as Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Environmental Sciences,
- Prof. Dr. oec. Ute Pflicke as Dean of the Faculty of Management and Cultural Sciences and
- Prof. Dr. iur. Erik Hahn as Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Industrial Engineering.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Hoff was re-elected Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
